Whether you do or don't, report everything in to your partner and when you're ready you can head to your final destination. Climb and let the story unfold, you can enter a bunker by interacting with what appears to be a fallen sign and learn more. Just keep following the Wave Receiver until you find an obvious sign to climb. It will lead you in the general direction of the lake from Day 1, though you will end up veering right (north) a little while before the very first littered campfire you discovered. Call in a report on the radio to finish Day 78.ĭay 79 - after initial conversations you will need to follow the Wave Receiver again, and visibility is very low. Eventually you will find yourself back outside the cave. Keep following the only path and let the story unfold.
#Firewatch day 78 cracked
Re-enter the gate in the cave and this time use a piton on the cracked rock when you reach it, allowing you to descend further.

Keep heading forward and you should find yourself back on the path to the cave. Exit on the opposite side of the hideout and follow the only path, down a couple of drops until you are on the path with the power lines. You can report in a bunch of items here but what you're after is the packet of pitons on the table. Head forward and up the path and you will find a hideout. Eventually after a couple of incidents (including having to clear some rubble) you will be outside. Head all the way through the cave, there's only one way to navigate through this area. Luckily Day 78 is pretty short.Īfter your usual morning conversation, head out of the tower and behind to go back once again to the cave. The last trophy was for completing Day 77 so this guide walks through Days 78 and 79. But occasionally you get to decide whether someone lives or dies.Īll of those probably total up to a solid month of playing time before I could even think about buying the Mass Effect Legendary edition. To earn the "Firewatch" trophy in Firewatch, you need to complete the last day in the game, Day 79. It’s somewhat like Mass Effect, in that it’s mostly just jogging from cut scene to cut scene and clicking on dialog choices, most of which are the linear “illusion of choice” non-branching kind.

Greedfall sits somewhere in the “not great, but not bad” area. I also started Greedfall, so that’s waiting to be finished.
#Firewatch day 78 series
Which, come to think of it, is exactly what the Souls series was. It really captures the spirit of discovery and exploration and mystery of a Souls game, but in a creepy alien environment. Hoping to finish it this weekend.Īfter that I’ll probably tackle Hellpoint, which is a very low-budget Souls-like, but also a surprisingly good one. There’s no “gameplay” to suss out.Īnyway while everyone else is playing Mass Effect again, I’m playing The Surge, which is a relatively good Souls-like, except for the bosses, which range from disappointing to infuriating. There’s so much incidental voiceover dialog that there isn’t much room for commentary, and not much to talk about anyway, except ongoing speculation or criticisms of the plot. Firewatch isn’t a great recording game, because it’s just watching me listen to the same story everyone else saw. I debated whether or not to even upload Firewatch, but since I’m running out of videos, I needed something to fill the upload hopper until I finish some other games. Firewatch and other games I’m currently playing: ie.
